Holy crapnuggets, I haven't done anything on dA in a while! Work on the Nadir is, once again, at a halt and being rewritten for about the fifth time. In the meantime I thought it'd be nice to come back to dA and see how Amber and Christy and Arielle and all the nice ladies I know are doing. I ended up with a bombardment of pictures thanks to Arielle being so snap-happy with her camera.

So DragonCon is coming up in a few months, I'm certainly looking forward to that. We'll have a nice six-person Left 4 Dead group with me as Bill, since I'm such an old fart. Chris, Mike, and I are also planning to be Baseball Furies from "The Warriors."

Beyond that is OhayoCon where HOPEFULLY I'll be adding Lord Ashram from Record of Lodoss War and Noriaki Kakyoin from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to my repertoire. Sadly both costumes have components out of my skill level, so I'm calling in my big favor from Miyuka for Ashram's armor, and commissioning Sonnya for Kakyoin's wig.

My personal life is not quite as exciting or pleasant as the world of cons and cosplay. Next month I have appointments with three different doctors across five days to discuss surgeries and follow up on how well my neck and scar are doing. My regular doc had a field day prescribing me medications when I went to see her a while back. I ended up with Keflex and a cream for my scar, while OTC Motrin and a potent muscle relaxer called Flexeril were given for my neck.

I'm completely addicted to Fallout 3. Played through the first time as a good girl, now I'm playing through as a guy who is evil incarnate. It's pretty cool being able to make open choices about how you interact with NPCs. If you've got a PS3, XBox 360, or gaming PC, get this game!
